Another week, another batch of fun stuff as recommended by Admiral Andrew, head of the Circus Fleet of Fun, who has put together his regular round-up of things going on at the Circus as well as around town. With Live Music, football on the big screen, plus the legendary Carnival of Cultures which is coming to Berlin this weekend, there should be something that you will find amusing…check it out:

Something Special – Carnival of Cultures 21st – 24th May (Parade 12:30pm, 23rd May)
Berlin’s Carnival of Cultures street party and parade celebrates the German capital’s multicultural spirit with music and dancing in the Kreuzberg district.
Exotic food and drinks add to the atmosphere and around half a million people join in the fun.
The Carnival of Cultures began as a street parade of masqueraders, musicians, dancers, DJs and artists and has now escalated into a slickly impressive extravaganza with a great programme both on and off-stage. Carnival groups from more than 70 countries dance through the streets of Kreuzberg, Berlin’s most international district.
Most activities take place around Blücherplatz and the main parade normally runs down Gneisenaustrasse.
