Awooga! After months of preparation we are extremely pleased and proud to announce the launch of “C” – our new magazine for the Circus Hotel. If you have stayed with us in the hotel, you will know that we had lots of information prepared and left ready and waiting in the room for guests when they checked in. This included information about the hotel and our services, but also recommendations for the neighbourhood such as bars, restaurants and shopping, and a history of Rosenthaler Platz.
The idea for the magazine was born out of the decision to find a nicer way to present this information, with some pictures and maps, and once we got working on it we decided to extend the amount of information that we include so that the magazine now features a wider range of staff recommendations, introductions of different staff members, the history of the Fabisch family (for whom the hotel restaurant is named), a city map and Jimbo’s guide to the district of Pankow.
Since the 1st August the magazine has been given out to all guests staying at the hotel, and for those of you too far away to come and have a look, we have also created a web-version of the magazine so you can have a look at what we are talking about.
On a personal note, I would like to take the chance here to thank Julia who designed and laid out the whole magazine, Theresa for her wonderful photographs, as well as all the other members of the Circus staff who contributed their wit and wisdom.
