As you probably know, we are opening a new building in October 2011 just around the corner from Rosenthaler Platz. The Circus Apartments will bring the best traditions of the hosted and serviced boarding house in combination with The Circus philosophy of hospitality.
There will also be a cafe and lounge on the ground floor which will be run by a close friend of ours, Sasa Reuter. It will be the place to read the daily paper, grab some breakfast or a light meal in the evening, and also where you can meet the hosts of the Apartments if you have any questions or special requests.
The menu of the cafe will be intentionally small, with the greatest emphasis placed on the quality of the products served, whether it is the coffee and fresh juices, or the bread rolls and the cakes. The cafe and lounge is being designed by another long-standing friend of The Circus, rani al rajji, who has put together the first visualisations of the space:

The handmade tiles for the floor come from Blatt Chaya in Lebanon, and below you can watch a video that shows the manufacturing process:
It looks like it is going to be a truly spectacular place, and we can hardly wait until it is finished and we can sip the first coffee in such wonderful surroundings.
You can find out more information on The Circus Apartments, including floorplans, pricing, and how to book, on the Apartments page of our company website. A dedicated website is also in the works, and we will keep you posted.
