Welcome to Fabisch at The Circus Hotel. Our Head Chef Roman Bigalke has created a menu that combines our Fabisch favourites with seasonal specials. We offer fresh and regional cuisine with a twist, and the best in classic and contemporary cocktails.
At Fabisch we take sourcing our ingredients very seriously – we use local produce and suppliers wherever possible, and all our meat products come from providers who guarantee the fair treatment of their animals. We also enjoy taking into account the time of the year while sourcing our ingredients, taking full advantage of the popular seasonal produce such as asparagus, chanterelle mushrooms, rhubarb, apples, and game.
Our breakfast buffet is available at Fabisch between 7am (8am on Saturdays and Sundays) to 1pm. We have carefully selected our buffet to not only incorporate local ingredients and seasonal suppliers, but also to eliminate waste.
The core of the Fabisch concept are four main elements – taste, quality, sustainability and respect to the environment.
Drinks at Fabisch
The Fabisch Bar offers an innovative range of cocktails, a broad wine list and excellent German beers. Whether you are with us for drinks with friends, live music with the family, or a nightcap at the end of a long day, we are sure to have something to your taste. Our wine selection has been carefully put together with the help of our local wine shop, Weinladen Schmidt, and our cocktail menu offers a wide variety of exciting drinks – from classic to contemporary – including some to which we have added our own, personal touch. Similarly to the restaurant, the bar reflects our commitment to quality ingredients.
Events at Fabisch
We organise regular events in our restaurant. Every Friday and Sunday we have live music from a wide selection of international musicians, and once a month, we work together with the ZZB to present our “History Talks” series with contemporary witnesses from Berlin. You can find an overview of all our events here.
The History Behind Fabisch
The name “Fabisch” comes from the family who lived and worked at Rosenthaler Strasse 1, and elsewhere in the surrounding neighbourhood, at the beginning of the 20th Century.
