Goldman's Bar

Since Goldman’s Bar opened in December 2001, with the chaos of the Circus Hostel Opening Party, it has always been known as the place where guests and Berliners come together to meet each other, have a sing and a dance, and generally have a bit of fun. If you read a story on a forum or hear a tall tale on your travels about something that happened at the Circus, chances are it happened down in the basement.

We recognise that people come to Berlin for the unique nightlife that the city has to offer, and we have been inspired by the city when it came to putting together our own contribution to the nocturnal life of the neighbourhood. The local bar and art scene was our inspiration, as we created our very own wohnzimmer (living room) in the depths beneath the Circus. Of course, we added our own touches – which is where the twin icons of Goldman’s Bar come from – The Boot, and the Hoff Shrine which our research shows is more photographed than the Brandenburg Gate.

Check out the links above for more information on the bar, the boot and the staff that will be serving you. Also check out the events page, for details on the full schedule of what’s on...from live sports and DJ sets to gigs and the infamous Wednesday night Karaoke Klub.
