From airport Tempelhof (THF)
Berlin Tempelhof Airport was closed in October of 2008.
After more than 80 years of flight operations and 123 years of aviation at Tempelhof, an important chapter in the history of European aviation will come to an end. We are very sad to see it closed.
The historic building of the airport can tell many stories and it is possible to visit it on guided tours. If you are interested in aviation history, in the history of Berlin or in World War II history, a tour of this enormous building might be the thing for you!
You can find more information about guided tours on the website of BIM at flughafen-berlin-tempelhof.com (unfortunately only in German).
