Getting Here

To enjoy your time with us at The Circus, first of all you have to get here. For directions to the hostel from the airports, railway station and bus station, follow this link.

We can also arrange a chauffeur-driven car with plush leather seats to pick you up from the airport, which will deliver you to the hostel in style. The prices for four (with little luggage) or three (with normal luggage) is €25 one way from Tegel Airport (TXL) and €40 from Schönefeld (SFX). This is a little more than a cab, but with a lot more style!

If you want the driver to be waiting there for you when you arrive, you need to send us an email or give us call (+49 30 2000 39 39) and tell us your name, the number of people in your group, the arrival date and time, and your flight number.

Getting Around

Now you are in the city, the good news is that Berlin’s public transport system is not only excellent, but also integrated, so the same tickets work on the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses and trams. The closest stops to the Circus, all of which are outside the door at Rosenthaler Platz are the U-Bahn Line 8, the Tram M1, and the Bus 142.

We have a limited number of all-day transport passes available for rent at reception for €4 a day…a saving on the normal price of around two euros.

If you want to get around under your own steam, have a look here for information about bike, segway and smart car rental, and we have of course maps and information for those who like to tramp the pavements...not only are most of Berlin’s main sights within walking distance of the hostel, but it is the cheapest and healthiest way too!
