Big projects need big planning. And with the project #recreate in full swing, calling our planning process big would be an understatement! Let us explain that. Starting next year, The Circus Hotel will go through a huge redesigning stage, literally top to bottom. It goes without saying that the design team will have their hands fuller than ever before. And when it comes to interior design, the “work” can get literally big. Just imagine all the color samples, furniture pieces, drawings and sketches, materials will definitely be piling!

If you know us, we like to think of our team more as a family than as colleagues, and family helps each other out whenever possible, right? Right! So, as much as we love Rosenthaler Platz and consider it home, we have recently decided that the team needs more office space. It was time to leave our Rosenthaler Nest and explore other corners of Berlin. Luckily, we didn’t have to look far, and starting this week, if you walk up Brunnenstrasse from Rosenthalerplatz, you just might run into our little office addition. Created exclusively for the purpose of the hotel’s renovations planning, it will be home to the design team for the foreseeable future.

And as it usually happens with changes, they go in waves. Sticking to the office topic, we are adding wood to the flame and doing a complete overhaul of our “old” space in the Hostel. Known as the headquarters of our Bookies and Management teams, it was about time we gave it a makeover. The summer is getting pretty active at The Circus, both metaphorically and literally, with the entire team moving over to the Apartments building until the beginning of August.

We’re very excited to have a fresh space not only for the planning purposes of the hotel’s major renovations, but also for the rest of The Circus Crew. Happy space means happy people, and happy people means better workplace…you get the gist. All in all, 2019 is definitely the year of change and we are welcoming it with open arms!

As for the actual Hotel revamp, make sure to stay tuned, there are lots of exciting things to come and we’ll be updating you as we go!
