Alexie Bourne grew up on Australian soil in Melbourne, where it was as natural as the air you breathe to sing, play guitar, and write songs. She moved to Europe with a British Ancestry Visa and a vision to set about carving her own niche as a songwriter. Having played over 2,000 gigs, it is her rootsy Melbourne singer/songwriter approach on acoustic guitar, blend of originals and fav. B sides from influenes such as Leonard Cohen and PJ Harvey, while keeping the pop appeal with renditions of songs by Kylie Minogue, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, and Bobby Womack for which she is invited back time and again.
