How can I make a reservation?

Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?

We require credit card details or an exact arrival time.

How can I confirm my booking?

Bookings are preferably confirmed with credit card details. Exact arrival time is also acceptable.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will not be charged, it is just for security purposes. Payment is done at check-in either by cash or card.

Can I have directions to The Circus?

You can find us here, and directions to the hostel, hotel, and apartments.

What is the parking situation?

We do have an underground car park at The Circus Apartments, which you can reserve in advance for €12 per day. Please contact us if you would like to book the parking option or if you have any further questions.

What is the “Umweltplakette”?

Every car that enters the “Environmental Zone” (the area within the suburban rail ring, including our district Mitte), needs an emission certificate. There are different ways to obtain an emission certificate such as gas stations, garages, online (www.umwelt-plakette.de), and especially for international guests, from the Berlin city government. Note: Other EU countries may have a similar certificate that can be used here also.

Check-in: from 3pm
Check-out: until 12pm

Is a late check-in/early check-out possible?

No problem. Reception is open 24 hours

When does reception close?

There is a concierge available 24/7.

Is linen included?

Yes

Is there a hairdryer?

Yes

Do you have any family rooms?

We have a 3 Room Apartment at the hotel that is ideal for families. In addition to this we will happily provide a baby bed wherever possible.

Are there baby beds available? If so, how much do they cost?

Baby beds are available and are provided for free. Children’s beds are also available and cost €10.

Should I book breakfast in advance?

It is not necessary to book breakfast in advance.

Are there lockers or safes?

There are safes in every hotel room.

What is the max amount of people in 1 room?

The maximum amount of people in each hotel room is as follows:
Double Room, Double Economy, Junior suite – max 2 adults plus 1 child.
2 Person Apartment – max 3 people.
3 Person Apartment – max 4 people.

Is there a fridge inside the hotel rooms?

We do not have fridges inside the hotel rooms.

What can I borrow/rent? (hairdryer, adapter, iPad, bikes)

You can borrow/rent the below:
– a yoga mat
– iron and iron board
– museum pass

Is shampoo and shower gel provided?

Yes, you can find our selection of organic shampoos and shower gels free of charge at reception.

Is there air conditioning in the hotel?

None of our houses have air-conditioning, and this is a deliberate policy. We believe that in a city with the climatic conditions of Berlin it is an unnecessary burning of resources. However, we provide a strong fan for each room and pull the curtains during the day as they also function as sun blockers.

This is no problem. Our reception is open 24/7.

Yes

Is there a hairdryer?

We rent hairdryers at reception.

Do we have to bring our own towels?

Yes, or alternatively you can borrow a towel from reception at a cost of €1.

Do you have any family rooms?

Our 4 Person Studio is ideal for families. In addition to this we can provide a baby bed in the private room.

Are there baby beds available? If so, how much do they cost?

Baby beds are available and are provided for free. Children’s beds are also available and cost €10.

Should I book breakfast in advance?

It is not necessary to book breakfast in advance.

Are there lockers or safes?

There is either a locker or safe provided for every hostel guest.

Is there a laundromat near the hostel?

Yes, just around the corner – Waschsalon, Torstraße 115.

APARTMENTS

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Yes, throughout the house.

What are the check-in/check-out times?

Check-in: between 2pm and 11pm
Check-out: 12pm

Is a late check-in/early check-out possible?

Reception is open between 7am and 11pm. Late check-in and early check-out is possible between these hours.

When does reception close?

Reception is open from 7am (8pm on weekends) to 11pm. Concierge service is available: Sun-Thu 7am-2pm and 5pm-9pm and Fri-Sat 7am-11pm

Is linen included?

Yes.

Is there a hairdryer?

Yes.

Are there baby beds available? If so, how much do they cost?

Baby beds are available and are provided for free. Children’s beds are also available and cost €10.

Are there lockers or safes?

There are safes in every apartment.

We rent the following:

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

Do I need to pay a deposit?

When booking directly through us there is no deposit required for the hotel and the hostel, group bookings are an exception. Concerning the apartments, a 30% down payment before arrival is required.

How and when do I pay?

Hostel: upon arrival.
Hotel: upon arrival or check-out.
Apartments: 30% down payment in advance, and the remaining at check-in or check-out.
