We are beyond excited to announce the start of the #recreate project at The Circus Hotel! It’s the biggest one we’ve ventured into so far and it’s the perfect addition to the new contract we just signed. If you haven’t been in the loop, we recently signed a continuation of The Circus Hotel lease. For the next 25 years! We couldn’t think of a better time to set out on this adventure, and we are really going all out!
Over the last 10 years, the hotel has been constantly evolving, changing a little at a time. We switched from a traditional German breakfast buffet to the new wave Australian brunch-on-Sunday with the best coffee ever kind of place. It’s called Commonground, and you might know it for the queues on weekends. Yes, it is that good.
Then there’s the façade. If you’ve been following us for a while you might remember the beautiful marquee that made our entrance stand out in true style of The Circus. It was also one of the rare pieces that are actually related to the looks of an actual circus and another big project that made us very proud.
But this time, we are taking renovations to a whole new level! This time, it’s not just a detail here or a new look there. This time it’s covering everything, from the lobby area to the rooftop terrace, and we are leaving no stones unturned! Do we have your attention now?
To give you a bit of an insider’s perspective, we sat down with Andreas Becker, one of the founders of The Circus Berlin and the master mind of the project #recreate for a sneak preview of what is to come. We asked him how the whole thing started, where the team looks for inspiration, what we can expect next year and much more!
So, here it is, project #recreate at The Circus through the eyes of Andreas Becker:
